The Venetian Gardens

You probably recognize the title of this Bible study as part of the prayer that the Lord Jesus Christ taught His apostles to pray in Matthew 6:9-13. I’m sure you have prayed this prayer many times yourself. Did you ever stop to wonder what you were asking God to do?

This Bible study will show you much of what is known about the Kingdom of Heaven that will be set up on the earth with Jesus Christ, as the son of David, as King. Jesus’ disciples knew the prophesies and expected Him to set up the Kingdom during His earthly ministry. But, when Jesus was ready to set up His Kingdom, on Palm Sunday, the Jewish leadership rejected Him and told Him to rebuke His disciples for praising and worshiping Him as their King.

Some people think that the establishment of Israel in 1948 was the fulfillment of that prophesy. This study will allow you to compare what Jesus told His followers about the Kingdom to what you know about Israel today. You will discover that the
Kingdom of Heaven on the earth has not yet come.
