Our government is from God.  Every power that exists is from God.  That does not mean that everyone in power is of God. 

 

This Bible study will show you why we cannot blame God for evil leaders.  He is responsible for the government but man’s free will determines who gets put into power and what they do when they get there.  We must blame the leader of this world, Satan, for evil leaders.  He has set a course to this world and everyone on planet earth can, at times, get swept away by it.

 

Until Christ comes for us in the clouds of heaven, believers have to live in this world.  That means subjecting ourselves to government and its laws.  But believers know that we will reign with Jesus Christ in heaven for eternity.
