The Case for Following Paul
Who is Paul?
Paul was a Pharisee who lived in Israel during the time of Jesus’ earthly ministry. He became the chief persecutor of Christians, after Jesus’ ascension, until Jesus met him on the road to Damascus. After that meeting, Paul became the apostle to the Gentiles, preaching salvation through Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection to Jews and Gentiles in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
As part of his ministry, Paul wrote 13 epistles which are found in the New Testament, Romans through Philemon. In them, he tells believers what Jesus Christ revealed to him. There is nothing more controversial in Christianity than when he wrote that we are to follow him, Paul, because he is following Jesus Christ.
This Bible study focuses on all the evidence that the way believers follow Christ today is to follow Paul.
